My name is Radu Suciu and I am a post-doctoral assistant at the Université de Fribourg. ... Before this position I was a post-doc at the Université Denis-Diderot (Paris VII), as part of the program Research in Paris 2010 funded by the Mayor of Paris.
My post-doc research there focused on early modern medical narratives (patient case-studies, stories & "clinical" observations) related to the melancholy disease and its variants (lovesickenss, hypochondria, lycanthropy).
